Kozminski University is looking for candiates to fill the positions of
RESEARCH ASSISTANT/ ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Department of Management
Nr ref.: 2/NAUKA/KZ/23
These positions include the following duties:
- conducting research in the scientific area agreed with the Head of the Department,
- full-time work for the position in the academic year,
- teaching in Polish and English, at the undergraduate and graduate levels,
- taking care of student organizations and projects,
- performing administrative tasks defined by the Head of the Department.
Candidate requirements:
For the Research Assistant position:
- master’s degree,
- a graduate degree in the field of management, economics, or related social sciences field,
- precise publication plans,
- publications in national and international scientific journals (recommended),
- plans related to submitting research grants,
- research grant experience (recommended),
- experience in teaching, including online environments (recommended).
For the Assistant Professor position:
- doctoral degree in management, economics, or related social science field,
- publications in peer-reviewed national and international scientific journals,
- precise publication plans in the discipline’s journals,
- publication record, with publications in English, including articles, editing, or authorship of scientific monographs,
- clearly defined plans for submitting research grants,
- teaching experience, including working with online students,
- participation in academic societies and academic conferences.
For both Research Assistant and Assistant Professor positions:
- experience working in the academic environment (recommended),
- non-academic experience related to research and teaching (recommended).,
- internships at foreign universities/foreign scholarships/lectures at foreign universities( recommended),
- proven knowledge of the English language at the C1 level, determined in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages,
- documented knowledge of English at C2 level (recommended),
- documented knowledge of the Polish language at the B2 level, determined in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages,
- documented knowledge of the Polish language at the C1 level (recommended),
- knowledge of the use of Office365 and Microsoft Teams,
- knowledge of remote work tools (e.g. MIRO, Socrative, Mural), recommended,
- communicativeness and ability to work in a team,
- ability to present research and teaching interests,
- ability to work in intercultural teams,
- analytical and synthesis skills
- respect for diversity and personal culture,
- motivation and availability,
- profiles on major social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Researchgate) or readiness to set them up,
- readiness to indicate KU as the first place of work.

- contract of employment,
- full-time employment for the position,
- the annual amount of teaching load: 210 (research-teaching positions),
- the university covers the costs of active participation in leading international conferences and the costs of editing / editing the language of scientific papers for international scientific journals,
