We are seeking a motivated and skilled Technician to join the ERC SHAPE project led by Prof. UAM Dr. hab. Róża Szweda at the Centre of Programmable Polymers, part of the Centre of Advanced Technologies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
About the Project:
The ERC SHAPE project aims to develop abiotic enzymes capable of selectively catalyzing chemical transformations in non-physiological environments. Unlike natural enzymes that are restricted to biological conditions, these abiotic systems will be designed for broader applications in organic synthesis. By precisely controlling monomer sequences, the project focuses on tailoring the SHAPE of macromolecules to achieve desired catalytic properties.
Nasze wymagania
- Education: Master's degree in chemistry
- Basic organic synthesis techniques
- Familiarity with chromatographic methods (e.g., HPLC, GC, Flash Chromatography)
- Knowledge of basic spectroscopic methods (NMR, FTIR, UV-vis)
- English Proficiency: Communicative leve
- Skills: Teamwork and laboratory organization
Mile widziane
- Knowledge of polymer chemistry
- Experience in scientific data analysis and report preparation
Zakres obowiązków
- Perform basic organic synthesis techniques
- Utilize chromatographic methods such as HPLC, GC, and Chromatography for analysis of chemical compounds.
- Conduct spectroscopic analyses using NMR, FTIR, and UV-vis techniques
- Assist in the synthesis and characterization of sequence-defined polymers.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a cooperative laboratory environment.
- Prepare reports and presentations based on research findings.
