Opis stanowiska
We invite applications for the position of assistant professor among the research and teaching staff at the Department of Condensed Matter Physics, Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science at AGH University of Krakow. The candidate will be involved in research focusing on the use of low-dimensional structures (quantum dots, quantum wells) for the development of systems (micro- and nanodevices) capable of processing and storing information based on interactions with light. The candidate is also expected to contribute to the design and characterisation of metamaterials for use as chemical sensors and in systems implementing other functionalities (e.g., modifying the state of polarization, metalenses, etc.).

- copies of diplomas or other certificates of the degrees and other qualifications,
- description of scientific achievements (list of publications, books, articles, conference papers, research and applied reports/studies, patents) and organizational achievements (list of current and past positions/functions at the university and beyond),
- description of teaching experience,
- supervisor’s opinion or references from a previous workplace or periodic evaluation,
- B2 level at least English certificate (not required for candidates for whom English is the first language),
- proven knowledge of the Polish language at the C1 level, if it is not the mother tongue.
