Nasze wymagania
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- A defined plan for academic and scientific development.
- Willingness to pursue a PhD within four years of employment (candidates with an ongoing doctoral dissertation are encouraged to apply).
- Research & Academic Focus:
- Research interests in accounting or adjacent areas such as finance, corporate governance, ESG, or public sector accounting.
- Scientific publications in English are highly valued.
- Experience with empirical research, demonstrated in the master’s thesis.
- Readiness to apply for external research funding (e.g., NCN grants).
- Teaching & Engagement:
- Willingness to conduct classes, including on weekends.
- Teaching experience (trainings, seminars, or workshops) will be an advantage.
- Commitment to contributing to the academic and organizational development of the Department and Kozminski University.
- Ability to articulate and present research and teaching interests appropriate to the career stage.
- Language & Communication Skills:
- Proficiency in English at a minimum of B2 level (for native Polish speakers) or C1 level (for non-native speakers), as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
- English at C2 level is considered a strong advantage.
- Polish language skills at a minimum of B2 level are also advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse and international teams.
- Digital Literacy & Tools:
- Familiarity with Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, VBA, SPSS) and/or qualitative analysis software (e.g., MAXQDA) is welcome.
- Programming skills are considered a plus.
- Professionalism & Visibility:
- Readiness to establish or maintain a professional presence on major platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Google Scholar, ResearchGate).
- Willingness to designate Kozminski University as the primary place of employment.
- Additional Assets:
- Interest in obtaining professional certifications (e.g., Statutory Auditor, CIMA, ACCA).
- Analytical thinking, synthesis abilities, cultural awareness, and a respectful, inclusive attitude.
- High motivation, dependability, and availability
Zakres obowiązków
- Conduct research within a scientific field agreed upon with the Head of the Department.
- Fulfill full-time academic duties during the academic year, including teaching as per the assigned teaching load.
- Support and mentor student organizations and contribute to student-led projects.
- Undertake administrative responsibilities as delegated by the Head of the Department.
