Opis stanowiska
Projekt ma na celu opracowanie abiotycznych enzymów zdolnych do selektywnego katalizowania transformacji chemicznych w środowiskach niefizjologicznych. W przeciwieństwie do enzymów naturalnych, które ewoluowały, by działać w biologicznych warunkach, systemy abiotyczne zostaną zaprojektowane z myślą o szerszym zastosowaniu w syntezie organicznej. Dzięki precyzyjnej kontroli sekwencji monomerów projekt zakłada dostosowanie kształtu (SHAPE) makrocząsteczek w celu uzyskania pożądanych właściwości katalitycznych.
Nasze wymagania
- A master degree in chemistry
- Experience in laboratory work
- Creativity, ability to work in a team, commitment, and motivation to achieve research goals
- Fluent command of English
- Documented experience in preparative organic synthesis
- Hands-on experience in chromatographic methods (GC, HPLC, Flash)
- Knowledge of basic spectroscopic methods used to identify organic compounds (NMR, FTIR, CD, UV-vis, fluorescence)
- Ability to design and perform syntheses of organic compounds
- Experience in working with an automated synthesizer
Mile widziane
- Knowledge of polymer chemistry will be an advantage
Zakres obowiązków
- Planning and conducting preparative organic synthesis
- Designing synthetic routes and optimizing reaction conditions for organic compounds
- Performing experimental work in organic chemistry, with polymer chemistry knowledge considered an asset
- Contributing to the execution of research projects and collaborating effectively within the research team
