OTWARCIE KONKURSU 25 LISTOPADA 2022 

OPIS (tematyka, oczekiwania, uwagi):

Do konkursu mogą przystąpić osoby spełniające warunki określone art. 113 ustawy z dnia 20 lipca 2018 r. – Prawo o szkolnictwie wyższym i nauce (Dz.U. z 2022 r., poz. 574).

Wymagania:

Od kandydata oczekuje się znajomości teoretycznych metod obliczania struktury elektronowej ab initio i / lub dynamiki jądrowej małych cząsteczek i / lub zagadnień pokrewnych w ultrazimnej kwantowej fizyce wielu ciał. Oczekujemy również motywacji i samodzielności w rozwiązywaniu problemów naukowych.

W ramach projektu kandydat wykorzysta i opracuje metody struktury elektronowej i / lub teorii rozpraszania kwantowego w celu zbadania właściwości nowych ultrazimnych kwantowych układów molekularnych lub innych powiązanych tematów w ultrazimnej kwantowej fizyce wielu ciał, ważnych dla bieżących i przyszłych prac eksperymentalnych.

Planowane zatrudnienie będzie realizowane w ramach projektu “Ultracold polyatomic molecules for controlled chemistry and precision physics” finansowanego przez European Research Council w ramach grantu ERC Starting którego kierownikiem jest dr hab. Michał Tomza. Planowany okres zatrudnienia wynosi dla jednej pozycji do 36 miesiące a dla drugiej do końca trwania projektu lub 60 miesięcy, zależnie co nastąpi wcześniej.

Podstawowe obowiązki:

Wykonywanie obliczeń struktury elektronowej i rozpraszania kwantowego dla zderzeń atomowych. Pisanie niezbędnych kodów komputerowych. Wyprowadzenie niezbędnych równań. Pisanie raportów i manuskryptów. Nadzorowanie pracy studentów.

 

Warunki zatrudnienia:

Praca będzie wykonywana w Instytucie Fizyki Teoretycznej, na Wydziale Fizyki Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego pod kierunkiem dr hab. Michała Tomzy, kierownika projektu. Stanowisko w wymiarze pełnego etatu na okres dla jednej pozycji do 36 miesiące a dla drugiej do końca trwania projektu lub 60 miesięcy, zależnie co nastąpi wcześniej.

Okres przechowywania danych

Państwa dane osobowe zgromadzone w obecnym procesie rekrutacyjnym będą przechowywane przez okres trzech miesięcy od momentu zakończenia procesu rekrutacyjnego.

Odbiorcy danych

Państwa dane będą przetwarzane przez naszego dostawcę usługi G-Suit dla edukacji firmę Google w jej centrach przetwarzania danych.[7] Państwa dane będą chronione przez standardy określone Tarczą Prywatności, zatwierdzoną przez Komisję Europejską.[8] Zapewni to Państwa danym odpowiedni poziom bezpieczeństwa.

Prawa osób, których dane dotyczą

COMPETITION OPENING DATE 25 NOVEMBER 2022

The requirements:

The candidate is expected to know theoretical methods of ab initio electronic structure calculations and/or nuclear dynamics for small molecules and/or related topics in ultracold quantum many-body physics. We also expect motivation and independence in solving scientific problems.

In the project the candidate will use and develop methods of electronic structure and/or quantum scattering theory to investigate properties of novel ultracold quantum molecular systems or other related topics in ultracold quantum many-body physics, important for ongoing and future experimental works.

The planned employment will be realized within the project „Ultracold polyatomic molecules for controlled chemistry and precision physics“ financed by the European Research Council within the Starting program grant of dr hab. Michał Tomza. The planned employment period is for the first position up to 36 months and for the second position until the end of the project or up to 60 months, depending on what will be first.

 

Key responsibilities:

Running electronic structure and quantum scattering calculations for small molecules. Deriving necessary equations. Writing reports and manuscripts. Co-supervising students.

Conditions of employment:

The candidates have to conform to the conditions stated in art. 113 of Higher Education Law dated 20.07.2018 (Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland 2022, item 574), who obtained a doctoral degree in the year of employment in the project or in the period of 7 years before January 1 of the year of employment in the project (in the case of persons who have obtained more than one doctoral degree, the date of reference is the date of obtaining the first one). This period may be extended by the time of staying in this period on long-term (over 90 days) documented sickness benefits or rehabilitation benefits due to incapacity for work. In addition, this period may be extended by the number of months on leaves related to the care and upbringing of children granted on the terms set out in the Labor Code, and in the case of women – by 18 months for each born or adopted child, if this method of indicating breaks in the academic career is more favorable.

 

A person to be employed in a post-doc type position must meet all of the following conditions:

– the project manager was not the supervisor or auxiliary supervisor of her doctoral dissertation;

– obtained a doctoral degree in an entity other than the entity in which employment in this position is planned, or completed at least 10-month, continuous and documented postdoctoral fellowship in an entity other than the entity implementing the project and in a country other than the country of obtaining the doctoral degree;

– during the period of receiving this remuneration, he / she will not receive any other remuneration from the funds allocated as direct costs from research projects funded under NCN calls;

– during the period of receiving this remuneration, he will not receive remuneration from another employer on the basis of an employment contract, including an employer based outside Poland
