Oczekujemy również motywacji i samodzielności w rozwiązywaniu problemów naukowych.

W ramach projektu kandydat wykorzysta i opracuje metody struktury elektronowej i / lub teorii rozpraszania kwantowego w celu zbadania właściwości nowych ultrazimnych kwantowych układów molekularnych lub innych powiązanych tematów w ultrazimnej kwantowej fizyce wielu ciał, ważnych dla bieżących i przyszłych prac eksperymentalnych.

Planowane zatrudnienie będzie realizowane w ramach projektu “Ultracold polyatomic molecules for controlled chemistry and precision physics” finansowanego przez European Research Council w ramach grantu ERC Starting którego kierownikiem jest dr hab. Michał Tomza. Planowany okres zatrudnienia wynosi dla do 36 miesięcy.

Podstawowe obowiązki:

Wykonywanie obliczeń struktury elektronowej i rozpraszania kwantowego dla zderzeń atomowych. Pisanie niezbędnych kodów komputerowych. Wyprowadzenie niezbędnych równań. Pisanie raportów i manuskryptów. Nadzorowanie pracy studentów.

Warunki zatrudnienia:

8.      Odpisy innych dokumentów potwierdzających kwalifikacje kandydata.

W przypadku wygrania konkursu oryginalne dokumenty należy dostarczyć przed zatrudnieniem.

Konkurs zostanie rozstrzygnięty do dnia 30.06.2023. O terminie ewentualnej rozmowy kwalifikacyjnej z komisją konkursową Rady Wydziału kandydaci zostaną powiadomieni indywidualnie przez e-mail.

COMPETITION OPENING DATE FEBRUARY 21st, 2023

The requirements:

The candidate is expected to know theoretical methods of ab initio electronic structure calculations and/or nuclear dynamics for small molecules and/or related topics in ultracold quantum many-body physics. We also expect motivation and independence in solving scientific problems.

In the project the candidate will use and develop methods of electronic structure and/or quantum scattering theory to investigate properties of novel ultracold quantum molecular systems or other related topics in ultracold quantum many-body physics, important for ongoing and future experimental works.

The planned employment will be realized within the project „Ultracold polyatomic molecules for controlled chemistry and precision physics“ financed by the European Research Council within the Starting program grant of dr hab. Michał Tomza. The planned employment period is for the up to 36 months.
