Nasze wymagania

must hold a doctoral degree or post-doctoral habilitation issued by one of the leading institutions in Europe or United States,
a proven record of excellence in research as evidenced by publications in top academic outlets in the area of international business and strategic management (ABS 3, 4 and 4*, IF, and/or papers published in Financial Times 50 list) and high citation index (according to Scopus and Google Scholar databases),
experience in using qualitative and quantitative research methods. Good knowledge of case study method, as well as an ability to design and conduct correlational and experimental studies is a must,
experience in leading national and/or international research grants and international research collaboration,
experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, preferably in international business strategy, strategic management, global strategy and related courses,
experience in supervising master and doctoral theses,
specific publication plans,
willingness to work in a scientific team in the Department of Strategy and to publish in the areas of international management, strategy, and entrepreneurship,
strong motivation for conducting scientific and research work,
a specified research area towards writing a doctoral or habilitation thesis,
practical experience or internship completed in a company or at a university,
proficiency in using basic Microsoft Office programs and MsTeams,
proficiency in English at level C1, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, enabling teaching in this language. Preferable proficiency at level C2,
readiness to indicate KU as the first place of work,
availability to conduct classes on weekdays and weekends - according to the needs of the study program,
profiles on major social media (LinkedIn, Researchgate) or readiness to set them up,
stress resilience, independent thinking
creativity, willingness to take on scientific challenges.

Mile widziane

a degree in management or economics is preferable,
preferred qualifications: expertise including, but not limited to, global strategy and strategies of multinational corporations, foreign market entry modes, innovation, healthcare digitalization. Additional regional expertise in emerging markets, especially in Central and Eastern Europe, is appreciated,

Zakres obowiązków

conducting research and publishing in high impact journals the scientific area agreed upon with the Department Head,
supervising master's theses and teaching classes, according to the teaching hours assigned to the position for the academic year,
performing administrative tasks as specified by the Department Head.

employment contract, full-time employment,
the annual amount of teaching load (research-teaching positions): 180 didactic hours,
the university covers the costs of active participation in leading international conferences and the costs of language editing of scientific works directed to international scientific journals,
the possibility of obtaining internal grants to cover preliminary/pilot studies,

the position is planned to start on 01.09.2024.
