Opis stanowiska

Employment under the IDUB Action D11: Funding short-term visits of researchers from abroad as well as grants for long-term stays of foreign researchers at AGH – Employment of foreign researchers in PostDoc positions, 1st edition.

Nasze wymagania

  • a doctoral degree (or equivalent) obtained in the field of Automation and Robotics or a related discipline, within the area of automation, electronics, electrical engineering, or space technologies, earned no more than seven years prior to the announcement date of the competition.
  • documented scientific achievements in the field of autonomous systems control, confirmed by publications in journals ranked in the top decile according to the Scopus database.
  • documented implementation achievements supported by patent applications, utility model filings, or involvement in the commercialization of research results.
  • experience in managing research projects, including at least one national or international project.
  • experience in delivering public presentations at international scientific conferences.
  • proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level (preferably fluent), enabling preparation of scientific publications and collaboration with international research teams.
  • completion of at least one internship at a foreign research institution, confirming experience in an international research environment.
  • knowledge of topics related to the architecture, operation, and training of artificial neural networks, including their implementation and optimization in autonomous systems.
  • knowledge of advanced optimization techniques, such as heuristic, metaheuristic, and evolutionary algorithms, applied in control system design.
  • proficiency in statistical and stochastic analysis, enabling the modeling and prediction of autonomous system behaviors in dynamic environmental conditions.
  • familiarity with mobile robotics systems, including sensor technologies, localization methods, and mapping techniques.
  • ability to create advanced mathematical models for physical processes and conduct computer simulations to test algorithms and predict system behaviors.
  • proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and Matlab,
  • knowledge of data processing and analysis techniques for measurement systems, including filtering, spectral analysis, and data fusion from multiple measurement sources,
  • possession of citizenship other than Polish.
