the researcher will be involved in the development of capabilities of metamaterials and metagratings. In particular, his/her focus will be on designing and analyzing operational principles of wave-based devices and the related phenomena, and numerical and physical models’ development and validation. Design and analysis methods will rely on partial waves approaches and multiple scattering techniques. Therefore, initial experience and knowledge of solution methods for multiple scattering systems will be acknowledged. The position offers a unique opportunity to take part in the complete design process of metamaterials – from theory, numerical analysis, manufacturing and validation by contact and noncontact (laser) methods. The selected candidate will be a member of the AGH team working in the DYNAMO project funded by the EU (see https://dynamo-project.eu).
