Opis stanowiska
The post-doc will participate in implementing the NCN OPUS-25 project (ID. No. 2023/49/B/ST4/00077, 3D-printed bone implants – Exploring the relationship between implants’ chemical and spatial structure and their surface, mechanical, osteogenic, and anticancer properties).
Nasze wymagania
- the candidate must hold a doctoral degree in one of the sciences, including chemical sciences, physical sciences, material engineering, chemical engineering, or biomedical engineering. The degree must have been obtained in the year of employment in the project or within 12 years prior to January 1 of the year of employment in the project. This period may be extended by the amount of time spent on long-term (more than 90 days) documented sick leave or rehabilitation benefits due to an inability to work. Additionally, this period may be extended by the number of months spent on childcare-related leave granted under the rules set out in the Labor Code. For women intending to enter the competition, this period may be extended by 18 months for each child born or adopted, if this method of indicating breaks in a scientific career is more favorable,
- the candidate either obtained her/his doctoral degree from an institution other than the one where she/hi is employed in this position or completed at least ten months of continuous, documented postdoctoral training at an institution other than the one implementing the project, in a country other than the one where they obtained their doctoral degree,
- during the period of employment, the candidate will not receive any other remuneration from direct costs allocated to research projects financed under NCN competitions,
- during the employment period, the candidate will not receive remuneration from another employer based on an employment contract, including from an employer based outside of Poland,
- evidence of scientific achievements in chemical sciences, physical sciences, materials engineering, chemical engineering, or biomedical engineering, as demonstrated by publications in international, peer reviewed journals, internships, fellowship s, awards, or participation in workshops/conferences/ projects, etc.)
- experience in acquiring, managing, or implementing research projects is welcome
- experience in laboratory work with 3D printing, polymers, composites, molecular spectroscopy for surface studies, or mechanical testing is highly desirable
- good English speaking and writing skills
- the ability to conduct scientific research and work effectively in a team setting is essential.

- t he doctoral diploma or certified copy of the doctoral diploma, or a resolution on awarding the doctoral degree, or any other document attesting to the conferral of the doctoral degree

- i t would be beneficial for the candi date to have an opinion from a person holding the academic title of professor or a postdoctoral degree on their scientific achievements in one or more of the following fields: chemical sciences, physical sciences, material engineering, chemical engineering , or biomedical engineering
