Kozminski University is looking for candiates to fill in the position of
Research Assistant or Assistant Professor
in the Department of Finance
Ref: 1/NAUKA/KF/23
These positions include the following duties:
- conducting research in the discipline of economics and finance and publishing in journals with an assigned impact factor,
- research cooperation with other employees of the Department aimed at publishing in high-profile journals,
- teaching a limited number of classes, in accordance to the position and teaching load assigned to the position, including classes in English and in Polish,
- supervision of student organizations and projects,
- performing administrative tasks as defined by the Head of the Department.
Requirements for the candidate for the position of Assistant Professor:
- specified publication plans,
- doctoral degree in the field of management, economics, finance or accounting,
- a proven track of publications in journal listed in Scopus or Web of Science (preferably with an assigned impact factor),
- teaching experience,
- knowledge of a selected statistical program for data analysis will be advantageous,
- professional experience in finance and / or accounting will be an advantage,
- programming skills (e.g., R, Python or VBA) will be an advantage,
- knowledge of English at least at the C1 level, as defined in the European System for the Description of Languages, allowing to teach classes in English,
- knowledge of the Polish language at least at the B2 level,
- openness to cooperation, communication skills,
- availability to conduct classes on selected days of the week and on some weekends,
- profiles on major social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Researchgate) or readiness to set them up,
- readiness to indicate KU as the first place of work.
Requirements for the candidate for the Research Assistant position:
